Several months have past since this wedding and when I looked back at the photographs, I knew there was no way that I could pass up sharing this couple with you. They were such an awesome couple. Lauren is the sweetest, petite woman and Chris is the towering football player teddy bear that melts at Lauren's smile. Their faces and hearts are the definition of love!
I have to admit that as a planner and coordinator, I love a first look. It definitely helps not to rush the pictures and gets some nerves out. However, this couple wanted to go traditional and not see each other. Obviously, I do whatever the couple wants on their wedding day and adjusted the timeline. Holy Moly! I am so glad that Lauren was insistent on this. The pictures of their reading love letters through the door. The look on Chris' face when he saw his bride walking toward him. I might have shed a tear or two (well, really I did, A LOT!). These two are so amazing and you could tell by all of the family and friends that they are so loved and give so much love.
Lauren and Chris could not have pulled off this gorgeous (albeit, very windy) day without the help from their hardworking vendors. Brady Boyd was the glam master for the day. Ashley Olberding at Smash Studios was with them all day and captured moments that I am sure the bride will remember forever. Meant 2 Be Video Production gave them videography that I am sure they will watch on every anniversary. Gayle Sams at a Garden's Secret created some of the most gorgeous bouquets I have ever seen. Kipp Holmes brought the most delicious cake. Jon at Deep Blu and Kristy with Hot Shots kept everyone entertained and dancing all night long.
The details that Lauren thought of for her wedding were so beautiful. And y'all check out those chalices that the b + g used for their first communion as husband + wife. I was afraid I was going to have to "misplace" those and keep them for myself!
Lauren and Chris, I hope that you guys enjoy your first Christmas as Mr. + Mrs. and so appreciate your letting Spring Creek Ranch be your wedding backdrop!
