At Spring Creek Ranch, every now and then we get the opportunity to host events other than weddings, so when we do, we take the event theme and run with it! Donna came to us wanting to have an amazing birthday bash and we were ready for the challenge. When she first sat down in our office, she noticed our cardboard cutout of Queen Elizabeth (because doesn’t everyone have one of those??) and we immediately hit it off with our love of all things Royal and British. How could we NOT throw a royal birthday party? But this couldn’t just be any themed birthday party. We wanted it to be a party that would fit the Queen herself, so in true Royal fashion, this was Donna’s Diamond Jubilee.
Donna wanted classy and elegant, but still casual and relaxed. The main thing she wanted from her party was for her family and friends to have fun. So we worked with an amazing team of vendors to make sure everything looked gorgeous, then brought in our Food and Beverage team to serve up some delicious food and drinks. The menu even included the British classic fish & chips. We had a champagne bar where we were serving up Veuve Clicquot and another bar with a full setup and Donna’s signature drink, Palace Punch. To end the night, we brought in the Pronto Pup food truck for some amazing hand-battered corn dogs!
This party was so much fun for us to put together and see come to life. We absolutely love getting to hear about an idea then putting in the work to make it happen with the help of some truly incredible vendors.
